The Governor joined industry and business leaders at India Connect 2021 Supporting WA development and trade at India Connect 2021 October 1, 2021 By Adele Hollywood The Governor today attended India Connect 2021, a collaboration between the WA State Government and the Indian Government, held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. The event provided a chance for the Governor to hear from industry and government representatives who exchanged ideas on new investment and trade opportunities to support economic development and job creation in both WA and India across a wide range of sectors. Discussions were led by the Honourable Roger Cook, MLA Deputy Premier and Minister for State Development, Jobs and Trade and His Excellency Mr Manpreet Vohra, Indian High Commissioner to Australia, and reaffirmed the State’s longstanding relationship and links with India.
