The Governor and Ms Annus, in partnership with WA Opera, welcomed industry stakeholders to Government House to thank them for their continued support during challenging COVID-interrupted times over the past 12-18 months. Photo – Rachelle Durkin was the first of three surprise performances for guests, singing Handel’s ‘Ma Quando Tornerai’ Image – Dylan Alcock Following a Welcome to Country by Dr Richard Walley, the Governor acknowledged the combined efforts of those in attendance, thanking them for their resilience and backing of the WA arts industry during tough times, and their efforts to assist WA’s many talented performers whose livelihoods were greatly impacted.
