The Governor chats with artist Robert J McCaffrey at his Perth Concert Hall exhibit Welcoming Brookman PS award winners, viewing Robert J McCaffrey exhibition, Seesaw Magazine interview October 14, 2021 By Carole Kerr So much fun had by the kids from Brookman Primary School who paid a visit to Government House and met with the Governor in celebration of being inducted into the Governor’s School STEM Awards Hall of Fame after picking up their third award in a row in 2020. The students won their prize last year but their visit was delayed due to COVID. The kids made up for it today enjoying a tour, morning tea, and some fun in the Gardens. They also performed a special ‘Acknowledgement of Country’ song for the Governor, in Noongar and English. A visit to ‘Hommage’ by Robert J McCaffrey The Governor and Ms Annus paid a visit to the Perth Concert Hall to view the latest multi-disciplinary exhibit from WA artist Robert J McCaffrey. The exhibition titled ‘Hommage’, on show over three floors of Concert Hall, is a reflection of many of the artist’s personal and professional journeys. You can view his many works Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm until October 31. Entry is free.
