Industry insights into two leading WA companies

The Governor is a great advocate for WA innovation and industry and today he enjoyed the chance to learn about two more local businesses making an impact on the national stage.

First up was a visit to Radlink Communications in Malaga. With nearly 300 staff Radlink is an Australian leader in wireless integration and radio and fixed-technology solutions, developing and providing equipment to the mining, and oil and gas industries, as well as private and public sector organisations.

The Governor was led on a tour of the company’s Malaga HQ before meeting some of the engineers and technicians that have helped develop this WA-based business into a national leader.

From there he headed across the road with Managing Director Jim Reid to genZ Energy, another Australian company whose focus is the development of Lithium Ferro Phosphate batteries and energy storage systems that can be used anywhere – in homes, off grid, in city or remote and regional areas.
