Garden tours Kalamunda hatters and african Violet society
Gardener Colin leads a tour group from the African Violet Society of WA around Government House Gardens

Showcasing our Government House Gardens

So much to see and so much to learn across the 3.2 hectares of our Government House Gardens, which makes it such a pleasure to be able to welcome a variety of garden and community groups for tours of this important heritage-listed space.

It’s also a lovely chance for our Gardeners, who spend so much of their time looking after the area, to be able to share some of it’s stories and showcase its beauty.

Gardener Colin played host to visitors from the African Violet Society of WA, while Gardener Claire led the colourful ladies from the Kalamunda ‘Happy Hatters’ Red Hat Group on a tour.

Our Government House Gardens are open to the public every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 12pm – 2pm unless otherwise advised.

So why not pop in, grab one of our self-guided walk brochures at the gate and enjoy everything our Government House Gardens have to offer.
