COTA WA Seniors Week “Let’s Talk Scammers” event Talking online scammers November 8, 2021 By Adele Hollywood Talking online scammers with COTA WA It was all about staying one step ahead of the sneaky scammers at the ‘Let’s Talk Scams’ event held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre today. This event, organised by Council of the Aging (COTA) Western Australia, of which the Governor is patron, was held as part of Seniors Week. The event provided practical tips, as well as encouraging open dialogue on the critical issue of online scammers. Meetings with the Consul General of Indonesia The Governor met with the recently appointed Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia Mrs Listiana Operananta followed by a meeting with Mr Torsten Ketelsen OAM, the former Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany in Western Australia. Mrs Listiana Operanata commenced as Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in October this year. Meeting with Mr Torsten Ketelsen OAM Mr Torsten Ketelsen OAM is Board Director Perron Institute, former Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany in Western Australia, Managing Partner of Ketelsen Enterprise Pty Ltd and Founder and Non-Executive Director of GMA Garnet Group.
