Restart the Arts returns in the Ballroom with the Birth of the Blues February 5, 2022 By Ashayla Dawn As part of the Restart the Arts initiative, Simone Craddock returned to the ballroom for a performance of Birth of the Blues. Winner of the 2020 FRINGE WORLD Music & Musicals Award for her critically acclaimed, box office smash-hit, Nina, Love Simone. In 2021 she went on to sweep the Music & Musicals awards for her sold-out seasons of Ella & Louis as well as Birth of the Blues. The Governor and Ms Annus thoroughly enjoyed the show.
