Celebrating the Commonwealth at St Georges Cathedral March 13, 2022 By Ashayla Dawn At the invitation of the Royal Commonwealth Society, of which he is a patron, the Governor attended the Commonwealth Day Multi-Faith Observance Ceremony at St Georges Cathedral. The Governor was invited to read Her Majesty the Queen’s 2022 Commonwealth Day Message to those in attendance. The theme of 2022 was ‘Delivering a Common Future‘. The aim was to highlight how the 54 Commonwealth countries are innovating, connecting and transforming to help achieve goals. A secondary focus was on the role service plays in the lives of people and the community.
