Ms Sermon is the current Chair of the Curtin WACHS Regional Health Alliance. She has also served as the Director of Innovation and Industry Engagement with the University of Western Australia, held management positions with Rio Tinto and Argyle Diamonds – focusing on corporate, community and agricultural engagement, and reputation – and acted as Executive Director of Innovation and Development with WA Country Health Services. Her extensive experience in this space has led to the creation of innovative delivery of health services across rural and remote Western Australia – through partnerships with communities, universities, service providers and suppliers. She is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has served long periods of time on not-for-profit boards such as the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS). Most importantly, perhaps, is Ms Sermon’s long family history in the agricultural space – herself being a fifth generation farmer.

Now, she brings all of this talent and experience to the Royal  Agricultural Society.
