Conversations and a visit from US Consul staff

Today Governor Beazley welcomed senior officials from the US Department of State to discuss opportunities for closer collaboration. Governor Beazley, who is a former Australian Ambassador in Washington, was pleased to meet the first international diplomatic visitors to Perth since Western Australia’s borders reopened.

In the afternoon, the Governor recorded an episode of Conversations at Government House, featuring Professor David Shirley, Executive Dean of WAAPA, as the guest. The two discussed theatre, language, teaching and the plans for the continued growth of our world-class performing arts academy.
