The Governor was pleased to meet with the Managing Director of Hofmann Engineering, Mr Erich Hofmann, to follow up on previous discussions at the Governor’s Strategic Foresight Dialogue. The discussion centred upon the Governor’s advocacy to help catapult West Australian sovereign capability forward, and the role Hofmann Engineering plays to ensure our industry remains on the cutting edge well into the future.

Born out of WA, Hofmann Engineering is a critical Australian heavy engineering firm and indivisible to the nation’s commercial sector and defence industry. The family-owned business, first established in 1969, hosts major facilities in Bassendean, Melbourne, Bendigo, Newcastle, Chile, Peru and Canada.
