Lights. Country. Action! Walking in a Noongar Wonderland March 5, 2022 By Ashayla Dawn Saturday evening, the Governor and Ms Annus found themselves immersed in the Perth Festival “Noongar Wonderland“. In ancient times, Perry Lakes was a place where travellers and locals gathered in order to share stories. It was a space of celebration, enjoyment and community. This spirit was revived in a multi-sensory, technicolour celebration of Aboriginal culture and story. The show involved an explosion of colour in the form of a vibrant light display, immersive sound installations and interactive elements that engaged all senses – turning the reserve into a veritable Noongar dance party, blending century-old culture with the latest in event technology.
