Western Australia, India and how we can cooperate economically

The Governor attended a working lunch hosted by the Honourable Roger Cook MLA Deputy Premier and Minister for State Development; Jobs and Trade, the Honourable Dan Tehan MP Federal Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment and the Honourable Shri Piyush Goyal Minister of Commerce and Industry; Government of India at the Ritz Carlton.

The event served to celebrate the recently signed Australia-India Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement, the first trade agreement signed by India with a developed economy after more than a decade – serving to unlock the full potential of the relationship between both countries, creating jobs and opportunities in Australia.
