Mr Michael Berry SC is sworn in as a Judge of the Family Court of Western Australia. Swearing in a new Family Court Judge June 10, 2022 By Amelia O'Sullivan This morning at Government House, the Governor swore in Mr Michael Berry SC as a Judge of the Family Court of Western Australia (FCWA). Mr Berry was sworn in at a special ceremony in front of family and special guests. Mr Berry’s appointment follows the Commonwealth providing funding for an additional full-time judge of the FCWA, increasing the number of judges to six. Mr Berry was this week also appointed as a Judge of the Family Court of Australia, the first judicial appointment under the new Federal Government.
