2022 Asia-Pacific Health Leadership Congress

With the Governor travelling to Canberra for the National Memorial Service for our late Queen, the Honourable Peter Quinlan, Lieutenant Governor of Western Australia, attended the 2022 Asia-Pacific Health Leadership Congress in his stead.

The Congress aimed to bring together pre-eminent health management leaders and managers to network, discuss and grow on a particular topic. This year’s theme is ‘Better Leadership – healthier communities’.

In his address, the Lieutenant Governor focused on the importance of trust in those in leadership positions. He stated;

“…on reflection, it was the soft skills – qualities like compassion, empathy, good communication, honesty, the ability to listen and of course – respect – that ultimately…” displayed true leadership.
