HonDLitt.WAust, FAIM, GAICD Chair of The Raine Study, Professor Romola Bucks, MClinPsych, PhD, FAPS, MAICD Director of The Raine Study and Associate Professor Rebecca Glauert, BPsych (Hons), PhD Scientific Director to Government House. The Raine Study is the world’s longest-running – and most extensive multi-generational – public health study of pregnancy, childhood, adolescence, and adulthood. The first of its kind study tracked participants from prior to birth to determine the role that early life events have on their health and later life. The discoveries based on the data continue to have a significant impact on health policy, practice, and education around the world through ground-breaking multi-institutional research that examines influences, pathways and outcomes through all aspects of human life. Today, representatives from the study, visited Government House to discuss the current work, challenges and future of The Raine Study with the Governor.
