Governor at DFES with Commissioner Darren Klemm AFSM for briefing on Kimberley floods Visit to the Department of Fire and Emergency Services and Australia Day Honours January 25, 2023 By Adam Brouwer Visit to the Department of Fire and Emergency Services Today the Governor visited the Department of Fire and Emergency Services WA (DFES) State Operations Centre, where he thanked, on behalf of all West Australians, many of the people involved in coordinating response and recovery efforts following the devastating Kimberley floods. Speaking with personnel from the numerous agencies involved, the Governor was briefed on both the current challenges, and also the efforts being made on the ground to help and support flood affected Kimberley communities at this difficult time.
