Visit to the Towhid Association

The Governor and Mrs Dawson were invited to the Towhid Association Community Centre today, where they met with association President Mr Rohullah Muhammad Ibrahim and cabinet members.

During the visit, they discussed the work of the not-for-profit organisation to support and foster community between Hazara people and the WA community. They also talked about the challenges and opportunities for Hazara people both here and overseas.

As one of the largest Hazara communities in Western Australia, the Governor and Mrs Dawson were given a tour of the Maddington-based community centre and given an insight into the plans for the future as the centre continues to be expanded and developed.
