Commonwealth Day Service Western Australia

Today the Deputy of the Governor, the Honourable Justice Kenneth Martin and Mrs Martin attended the Commonwealth Day multi faith service at St George’s Cathedral.

The Royal Commonwealth Society was founded in 1868, is independent of government and works on behalf of all Commonwealth citizens.

Commonwealth Day is the annual celebration of the Commonwealth of Nations which began in 1977. The theme for 2023 is ‘Forging a sustainable and peaceful common future’.
