Talking business in Bern

The Governor and Mrs Dawson have begun the European leg of their official overseas visit with a trip to Bern in Switzerland.

There they met with recently appointed Ambassador to Switzerland Ms Elizabeth Day, who officially took up her post just three days ago, as well as representatives from Austrade.

The Ambassador hosted a dinner for the Governor and Mrs Dawson, which provided an opportunity for further discussion on investment in WA, and a chance to meet with representatives from companies with strong business interests in our state.

The Governor’s visit was designed to strengthen ties and help facilitate communication and contact with WA business leaders.
