Upcoming concert: Royal Over-Seas League Symphonic Gala WAAPA

Ludwig Van Beethoven’s mighty & majestic Fifth Symphony is one of the worlds most admired works. Written at a time of turmoil & danger by a composer yearning for a world filled with justice & peace, the power & ambition of Beethoven’s extraordinary symphony, in a side-by-side performance where WAAPA students are mentoredd by expert musicians from Perth Symphony Orchestra.

You’ll also hear opera superstar Emma Matthews sing gorgeous arias by Handel & Mozart, together with Giuseppe Verdi’s thrilling overture The Force of Destiny. Directed by the internationally-renowned conductor Jessica Gethin, and made possible through the support of the Royal Over-Seas League and Perth Symphony Orchestra, this wonderful evening of orchestral music at its best.
