Professor Bruce Robinson – The Fathering Project

The founder of The Fathering Project, Professor Bruce Robinson, spoke of the importance of fathers and father-figures in positively influencing the health and mental health of children, their social success and academic achievements when he met with the Governor and Mrs Dawson today.

Started in Western Australia by Professor Robinson, The Fathering Project has expanded nationally and offers a wide range of evidence-based programs focused on helping fathers, and father figures, be the best dads they can be.

Ambassador of Argentina

In his first visit to Western Australia since becoming Ambassador late 2021, His Excellency told of how Perth and Western Australia had risen in the mindset of Argentinians.

He said that had occurred through cooperation in the areas of mining and agriculture but also because WA’s natural beauty had captivated tourists, especially young travellers.

The Governor and Ambassador compared notes on the importance to both Western Australia and Argentina in emerging industries, including lithium mining.

While the Ambassador has a busy program in WA he’s using the Good Friday holiday to visit Rottnest with his wife where they’re looking forward to meeting the Quokkas!
