2023 Australia Day Honours recipients presented in the second Investiture ceremony at Government House. 2023 Australia Day Honours Awards presented in second ceremony May 3, 2023 By Adam Brouwer It was another big day at Government House as we celebrated the courage, generosity and community spirit of a further 36 Western Australian at the second of two investiture ceremonies. Recipients included those receiving the Officer of the General Division of the Order of Australia (AO), those awarded the Medal in the General Division (OAM) and recipients of Conspicuous Service Decorations. Each with their own stories of dedication of service, selflessness in helping others, rolling up their sleeves to volunteer in their community, and dedicating their lives to making a difference. In total 77 recipients have been recognised with Australian Honours across the two days of investitures in the Government House Ballroom with ceremonies including a Welcome to Country by Emeritus Professor Colleen Hayward AM, and performances by Wesley College Perth‘s Moorditj Mob, The University of Western Australia’s Conservatorium of Music and singer Madeline Croft performing the National Anthem.
