Day one in the East Kimberley

On their first official visit to the East Kimberley, the Governor and Mrs Dawson will visit Kununurra and Kalumburu, coinciding with the 2023 Ord Valley Muster.

The Ord Valley Muster is a standout event on the Kimberley calendar attracting attendees from far and wide looking to experience a taste of the culture and beauty the Kimberley has to offer.

The Governor and Mrs Dawson were invited to join one of the Ord Valley Muster’s key events, the Kimberley Moon Experience. The Kimberley Moon Experience featured performances by Toni Childs, King Stingray and Birds of Tokyo.  The Kimberley Fine Diamonds Dinner showcased the finest local produce and West Australian wines.

The Governor and Mrs Dawson enjoyed the opportunity to chat with local business owners and industry leaders who were in attendance.
