Royal Association of Justices WA

It’s not often that we have an association that’s been operating for over 106 years come to Government House, but this afternoon we had members of Royal Association of Justices WA here to celebrate that very anniversary.

A patronage organisation of the Governor, RAJWA represents volunteer Justices of the Peace within Western Australia.

The role of JP was established by the first Western Australian Governor Captain James Stirling more than 193 years ago, and today there’s approximately 2,500 JPs providing invaluable and voluntary services to the WA community.
