The Governor with Mr Gabriele Visentin, EU Ambassador to Australia National Reconciliation Week and the Ambassador to the European Union May 25, 2023 By James Pratt A call from the European Ambassador to Australia, His Excellency Mr Gabriele VisentinHis Excellency Gabrielle Visentin is making his first visit to Western Australia since taking up his appointment last November.The Ambassador and the Governor spoke about the mutual opportunities that exist in trade and investment; particularly around raw materials required for the shift to green energy production.The Ambassador was also keen to hear about the Governor’s attendance at the Coronation of King Charles lll. National Reconciliation Week BreakfastThis morning Mrs Dawson attended the National Reconciliation Week Breakfast. The annual event was also presented virtually, with participants from all over the State joining online.Aunty Robyn Collard welcomed guests to Country and the Hon Tony Buti, Ken Wyatt AM, and Craig Foster delivered an address.The Governor and Mrs Dawson are passionate about reconciliation and the annual breakfast is an inspiring way to start National Reconciliation Week, which runs from 27 May to 3 June 2023.
