The Governor presented each of the scholars with a gift from the Foundation 29th November 2019 • General Sir John Monash 2020 WA Scholars November 29, 2019 By Adele Hollywood The Governor hosted an afternoon tea to recognise the General Sir John Monash 2020 Western Australian scholars. The General Sir John Monash Foundation (external link) raises funds for, and to administer, Australia’s own postgraduate scholarships – the John Monash Scholarships – to foster leadership, expertise and international networks, as well as build Australia’s capabilities for the future. Congratulations to Mr Jonty Coy, Mr Thomas Jenkins and Ms Chloe D’Souza who were named as Western Australia’s 2020 Scholars! Read more about each of their studies. The Foundation’s scholarships are ‘uniquely Australia’s own premier awards’, in support of great minds with leadership qualities and a commitment to community, who seek to undertake postgraduate study at leading institutions worldwide.
