Lest We Forget, Anzac Day 2021 Anzac Day 2021 commemoration April 25, 2021 By Carole Kerr Like so many West Australians the Governor today paid his respects to our servicemen and women, past and present, by joining hundreds of thousands across the state in quiet contemplation at dawn. From the steps of Government House to footpaths, driveways, balconies and farm gates all around the state, West Australian’s made sure our ANZACS were remembered with personal services and tributes outside their homes, after Covid restrictions forced the cancellation of the Kings Park dawn service, Parade, RSLWA Gunfire Breakfast and other large gatherings and events. The Governor also recorded a special ANZAC Day 2021 message which you can view below. The Governor is proud to be Patron of the RSL WA.
