The Governor enjoys the Crescendo Music program at North Parmelia Primary School Building stronger families and creating a brighter future through music education November 9, 2021 By Adele Hollywood Creating a brighter future through music education The Governor and Ms Annus visited North Parmelia and Medina Primary Schools today to learn more about the Crescendo program created by the West Australian Symphony Orchestra (WASO). The Crescendo program currently provides weekly classroom music lessons to all students from pre-primary to Year 6 at Medina Primary School and North Parmelia Primary School. Students in Years 4 to 6 are also receiving Violin lessons. Building stronger families The Governor met with Geoff Hart-Davies, CEO and Paul Fitzpatrick, Chair of Stronger Families to discuss the important work the organisation is currently undertaking in the community. Caring Dads is a 17 week program designed to promote safe and responsible fathers through the provision of dedicated, best practice and evidence based group intervention programs.
