The Governor’s schedule is full for the remainder of 2020. Planning for the 2021 schedule is now in progress and consideration will be given to requests for the first six months of 2021.
COVID-19 and the Governor’s program
The Governor’s program is being kept under close review in light of the prevailing public health situation and associated government advisories. All invitations received for the Governor of Western Australia to host events or attend external events in the community will not be considered if they are not in line with the current State Government advice in terms of social distancing. We appreciate your understanding. The Governor and the Office of the Governor look forward to engaging with your organisation in the very near future.
Ballroom conservation and maintenance works
The Government House Ballroom will undergo important conservation and maintenance works beginning early 2021. Due to the works, the Ballroom will be unavailable to hire until further notice. Please continue to check back for updates as they become available. Requests to hire the heritage-listed Grounds and Gardens will still be considered during this time. We appreciate your patience and apologise for any inconvenience.
