Legacy WA thank you morning tea and a podcast interview

Thank you morning tea for Legacy WA

It was a lovely day for morning tea on the terrace today as the Governor and Ms Annus welcomed the families and volunteers of Legacy WA to Government House. The Legacy Bears also dropped by for the special event.

The Governor is proud patron of Legacy WA, that helps thousands of West Australian widows, families and children of soldiers who suffer traumatic physical or mental injury or have lost their lives serving Australia.

The Governor knows first-hand the importance of Legacy WA in our community as his mother was a ward of Legacy.

An interview with the Hon Christopher Pyne

The Governor dropped by the Austereo Triple M studios in Subiaco later in the day to record a podcast with the Hon Christopher Pyne as part of the PyneTime podcast series.

The Governor chatted with Mr Pyne about their connection as Ministers for Defence, Australian Defence capabilities and the Australia and US relationship.

The fascinating PyneTime podcast will be airing on the Listnr platform soon.
