Restart the Arts^19th December – James Dekleva plays Beethoven and Tchaikovsky

James Dekleva will perform as part of the Restart the Arts with Government House initiative

Qualifying for the 16th International Beethoven Piano Competition this year, young pianist James Dekleva will be the only competitor representing Australia in this prestigious competition in Vienna, 2021. Before he journeys off, he will present a solo recital here at Government House Ballroom this December.

Don’t miss this world class performance by Dekleva as he takes you through the frozen snowscapes of Russia with Tchaikovsky’s Dumka, the musical realm of Beethoven, and the dazzling Land of Sweets with the festive and technically demanding Nutcracker Suite from Tchaikovsky’s ballet!
