Joining Ms Strk and the Governor was the Chief Justice of Western Australia, The Hon Peter Quinlan SC Ms Strk has been the Supreme Court of Western Australia Principal Registrar since 2016, and will begin in her Acting Master role on Monday, 22 February 2021. Meeting with Major General John Hartley AO, Future Directions Australia The Governor this morning met with Major General John Hartley for a chat and update. Major General Hartley is Chief Executive Officer at Future Directions International Future Directions International (FDI) is an independent, not-for-profit Research Institute. It was established in 2000, by the late Major General the Honourable Michael Jeffery (former Governor General of Australia and Governor of Western Australia) together with a small group of leading Australians, to conduct comprehensive research of important medium to long-term issues facing Australia.
