The Opera comes to Government House

WA Opera came to Government House at a special event to recognise supporters of this iconic WA company.

The Governor and Ms Annus, in partnership with WA Opera, welcomed industry stakeholders to Government House to thank them for their continued support during challenging COVID-interrupted times over the past 12-18 months.

Following a Welcome to Country by Dr Richard Walley, the Governor acknowledged the combined efforts of those in attendance, thanking them for their resilience and backing of the WA arts industry during tough times, and their efforts to assist WA’s many talented performers whose livelihoods were greatly impacted.
